Do I need to refrigerate the chocolates?

No! Room temperature (below 75 degrees F), out of direct sunlight and away from any heating elements is perfect. Excessive moisture can cause sugar bloom giving the chocolate a discolored appearance, it’s 100% safe to eat, but it isn't pretty. If you need to put your chocolate in the fridge please be aware that it will absorb any aggressive smells such as garlic, fish, etc and then give off those flavors when eaten.

What is the shelf life of your chocolate?

Best by dates will vary for all of our items, please check packaging for specific best by date. In general our bonbons are best within 4-6 weeks, caramels within 12 weeks, bars and solid chocolates anywhere from 6 months to one year, s'mores within 8 weeks, granola within 6 months, and peanut butter cups within 4-6 weeks.

Can I fix chocolates that have started to melt?

Short answer, no. If they do start to melt, you can remove them from the environment that is causing the melting and place them in the fridge. They will re-solidify but will cause them to not look as nice.

Is your chocolate gluten free?

The chocolate itself is gluten free but some of our products are not. The s'mores, it's all that bar, cookies and cream bar, pop rock bar, cookie sandwiches, chocolate clusters, and granola are NOT gluten free.

Is your chocolate dairy free?

Dark chocolate is naturally dairy free however milk and white chocolate are NOT dairy free. We do offer a few items that are dairy free such as all our dark bars, tiles, and dark chocolate granola.

Is your chocolate nut free?

Some of our items are nut free however all the products are produced in a facility that handles peanuts and tree nuts. Since the kitchen is not nut-free, I cannot 100% guarantee that there is no cross-contamination, even though we try our hardest to prevent it.

Do you offer sugar free chocolates?

We do not have any sugar free items at this time.

What kind of dark chocolate is it?

All of our dark chocolate is 64%. The percentage of cocoa you see on a label is the measurement of the chocolate bar’s weight that comes from actual cocoa beans (including cocoa liquor and cocoa butter), also known as cocoa mass, the remaining percentage is sugar.
